Happy Summer

Dear Parents and Students,

It has been a joy and a pleasure teaching you this school year. I must say, you are one of the finest groups of young people I have ever had the opportunity to meet. I am looking forward to watching you grow in the coming years.

I hope that you are all enjoying your summer break. I'm going to take a few minutes to remind you of the importance of exercising both your body and your BRAIN this summer. By taking time each day to read (a book, magazine article, newspaper) or write (in a journal, email, letter) and take part in some sort of math activity (baking, keeping track of allowance, etc) you will be preparing yourself for your own future. Please try out some of the websites on the list as well. I am going to post them here so you can click directly on the link.

But above all, be safe, relax, enjoy your family and friends. I will see you in August!

Mrs. Bennett
